Hosted by The St. Regis Bar Bangkok Beverage Manager Brian Gonzalez, the September edition puts the personalities behind the drinks firmly in the spotlight. Bringing together different approaches to modern cocktail culture, this Bangkok Hotel News report highlights an event designed to be as much about conversation and hospitality as what goes into the glass. Guests will be able to experience drinks from two acclaimed visiting bars while enjoying the distinctive setting of The St. Regis Bar on Level 12.
Kuala Lumpur Meets Jakarta Behind the Bar
Flying in from Kuala Lumpur are Angeline Tan, co-founder of Three X Co, and Bar Manager Rachel Kuan. Three X Co is ranked No. 32 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 and was named The Best Bar in Malaysia 2026.
The bar’s approach extends beyond simply mixing spirits and ingredients. Its latest concept, IndiVDuality 2.0: Between Us, explores chemistry, personal connection and the often-unspoken interactions between people, bringing storytelling directly into the drinking experience.

Jakarta will be represented by Between The Sips founder Niko Idham Kholid and Head Bartender Ferdian Budiman. Ranked No. 73 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 less than three years after opening, Between The Sips has attracted attention for experimentation and creative use of local ingredients. In Bangkok, the team will showcase cocktails intended to stimulate both the palate and conversation.
Cocktails Meet American-Italian Tapas
Food will play an equally important role. The St. Regis Bangkok Executive Chef Matteo Fontana joins Chef Anthony Burd of Tony’s Bangkok to prepare unlimited American-Italian-inspired tapas, giving guests opportunities to experiment with different cocktail and food pairings throughout the afternoon.
The beverage package includes free-flow cocktails, wine, beer and soft drinks alongside tapas for THB 1,999 net per person. An early-bird price of THB 1,699 net is available for reservations made by September 13. Guests wanting a more celebratory experience can choose the THB 4,199 net package, adding free-flow Champagne.
Only 100 Places Available
Cocktails, Tapas & Friends runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, at The St. Regis Bar. An à la carte menu will also be available, while attendance is limited to only 100 guests, making advance reservations advisable.

It offers Bangkok drinkers an opportunity to discover how three cities are shaping contemporary Southeast Asian cocktail culture through flavor, storytelling and hospitality.
