Designed as a tribute to the Amazon region’s famed cacao heritage and biodiversity, the limited-edition afternoon tea brings together refined European tea traditions with vibrant South American influences. Guests can expect an indulgent culinary journey that reflects both heritage and innovation. In the heart of the experience, this Bangkok Hotel Afternoon Tea news report finds that the hotel has carefully curated every detail to transport diners into a world of tropical elegance while preserving the timeless sophistication associated with the InterContinental brand.
Brazilian Flavours Take Centre Stage
The savoury selection introduces diners to several classic Brazilian-inspired delicacies. Highlights include soft and cheesy Pão de Queijo paired with delicate Parma ham, traditional Brazilian Coxinha filled with shredded chicken, and a comforting leek and bacon quiche. Another standout is the Torta de Bacalhau, a rich salted cod tart that pays homage to Portuguese-Brazilian culinary roots.
Traditional afternoon tea staples also receive a tropical reinvention. Freshly baked lime-infused scones are served with pineapple spiced jam and orange preserves, adding refreshing citrus notes that perfectly complement the premium tea and coffee pairings.
