Starting in July 2025, SHR will roll out the SAii DISCOVERY loyalty program in collaboration with GHA DISCOVERY. This Hotel News report highlights that guests staying at premier properties like SAii Laguna Phuket, SAii Phi Phi Island Village, SAii Koh Samui Villas, and Santiburi Koh Samui will enjoy a suite of exclusive perks. These include immediate discounts upon joining, complimentary room upgrades, early check-in, late check-out, and curated local experiences that immerse travelers in authentic Thai culture from the moment they arrive.
A Partnership Rooted in Sustainability and Local Engagement
Three of SHR’s standout resorts—SAii Laguna Phuket, SAii Phi Phi Island Village, and Santiburi Koh Samui—are now officially part of GHA’s Green Collection. This elite group represents environmentally responsible hotels committed to sustainable practices and ecosystem preservation. SHR’s alignment with this initiative further reflects its long-standing commitment to sustainable tourism, environmental conservation, and meaningful community partnerships.
Michael Marshall, CEO of SHR, emphasized the multi-dimensional benefits of this partnership. “Joining GHA DISCOVERY gives SHR access to one of the world’s most influential loyalty platforms. It not only drives direct bookings and boosts revenue, but it also provides deep insights into guest behavior. This data helps us refine our service strategies while connecting our properties with a global community of sophisticated, experience-driven travelers.”
Marshall added that customers will also be able to earn and redeem DISCOVERY Dollars (D$) for future stays, spa treatments, fine dining, or exclusive activities at any GHA DISCOVERY property globally. The convenience of the GHA DISCOVERY mobile app further empowers guests to manage their travel plans and preferences with ease.
Welcoming Thai Luxury into the Global Hotel Ecosystem
Chris Hartley, CEO of Global Hotel Alliance, shared his enthusiasm: “We are delighted to welcome SHR into the GHA family. Their SAii and Santiburi resorts offer unique experiences in some of Thailand’s most breathtaking destinations. This collaboration not only expands our portfolio but reinforces our shared vision of culturally connected, sustainable hospitality.”
With this major collaboration, S Hotels and Resorts isn’t just gaining access to a massive global platform—it’s setting the stage for a new era in Thai luxury travel. Guests can now expect more personalized journeys, richer cultural engagement, and elevated rewards with every stay. This is more than a loyalty program—it’s a reimagined hospitality experience built for the future.
