Torsten joins Anantara Siam Bangkok from his most recent dual role as Area General Manager for Malaysia and Indonesia at Minor Hotels and General Manager of Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas. Throughout his stellar career, he has held leadership positions across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia at prestigious properties including The Ritz-Carlton Berlin, The MARK Hotel in New York, and SO/Bangkok. His career trajectory began in Germany in 1989 with an apprenticeship at the world-renowned Schlosshotel Bühlerhöhe, followed by a Diploma in Hotel Management and rapid advancement through roles in food and beverage and general management.
